NightWatcher, You're Ok

 written May 23rd, 2016

Every room is clogged with clutter

All your mind is chaotic wonder

and now I feel destructive thunder

in my soul too.

You try to reach me in hope

but Your unknown brokenness makes every gesture a joke

because I know you’re hurting

so now I’m hurting on my own

because of you.

Your heart’s reality

invites my heart to break more deeply

I guess it doesn’t happen enough

for me to know that it hurts good.

But I’ll enter in the mystery

of the scary mind we’re haunted by

and make your terror mine.

We’ll both toss and turn all night

at the stern with Jesus Christ.

I can’t take your feeling away.

I’m not strong enough to breath new life into today.

I can’t lead because I follow

but we’ll keep our eyes on tomorrow

where the winds have died and the sea is calm

and all we hear is the most sovereign voice of all.

Night Watcher, you’re okay.

The fact that you look is perfect enough.

The truth that you care means that you’re almost there;

the proof’s in your prayers.

The Master has answered and He’s waiting there

tomorrow

after the sorrow

has brought US closer together.

Dance Devotional Introduction

RandiDancing Devotional Creative Movement Activities to Activate Your Spirit Introduction Every person experiences connection in their own way.  Some can  hear  a song and then immediately be able to play it.  Others can turn the page of a textbook and photograph the information with their mind through  sight , and never need to open to that page again. Still, others must actually touch the equipment and take tactile practice for everything to click. We as humans engage with and respond to life and relationship experiences in different ways. I find that I express more of the height, width, depth and length of my inner life  through physical movement. I was endowed with the aptitude and even felt the necessity to dance rather than being confined to words, singing, tears, laughing, smiling and writing alone.  Dance or creative movement as worship is the idea of giving  all  you have. Most of us will speak, write, thi...

Dance Devotional Day 13

Day 13 Confession Psalm 86 [AMP] (MSG) <TPT> Incline Your ear, O L ord , and answer me, For I am distressed and needy [I long for Your help]. <I am in deep trouble. I am broken and humbled.> Protect my life (soul), for I am godly  and  faithful; O You my God, save Your servant,  <Your faithful friend> who trusts in You  [believing in You and relying on You,  confidently committing everything to You]. Be gracious  and  merciful to me, O Lord, For to You <my hero>  I cry out all the day long <in faith>. (I count on You from morning to night) <Restore joy to Your loving servant> Make Your servant rejoice, For to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul  [all that I am—in prayer] <for all I am is Yours>. For You, O Lord, are good, and ready to forgive  [our sins, sending them away, completely letting them go forever and ever]; And abundant in lovingkindness  and  overflowing  (bighearted to all ...

Dance Devotional DAY 4

Day 4 TrustWorthy Matthew 6:25-34 AMP; Psalm 36:5-10 MSG (TPT);  1 Corinthians 6:15 NIV, 17 AMP ' “Therefore I tell you, stop being worried or anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted) about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, as to what you will wear. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow [seed] nor reap [the harvest] nor gather [the crops] into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they? And who of you by worrying can add one hour to [the length of] his life? And why are you worried about clothes? See how the lilies and wildflowers of the field grow; they do not labor nor do they spin [wool to make clothing], yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory and splendor dressed himself like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is a...
