Dance Devotional Day 6

Day 6

Praise

Psalm 145 AMP (TPT)

I will exalt You, my God, O King, (My heart explodes with praise to You)
And [with gratitude and submissive wonder] (my heart bows in worship)
I will bless Your name forever and ever.
Every day I will bless You and lovingly praise You;
Yes, [with awe-inspired reverence] I will praise Your name forever and ever.
Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised,
And His greatness is [so vast and profound as to be]
unsearchable [incomprehensible to man].
(There is no end to the discovery of the greatness that surrounds You.)
One generation shall praise Your works to another,
And shall declare Your mighty and remarkable acts.
On the glorious splendor of Your majesty
And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate.
People will speak of the power of Your awesome acts,
And [with gratitude and submissive wonder] I will tell of Your greatness.
They will overflow [like a fountain] (our hearts bubble over)
when they speak of Your great and abundant goodness
(as we celebrate the fame of Your marvelous beauty, bringing bliss to our hearts.)
And will sing joyfully (we shout with ecstatic joy) of Your righteousness
(over Your breakthrough for us).
The Lord is gracious (tenderhearted) and full of compassion
(to those who don't deserve it),
Slow to anger (very patient with those who fail Him)
and abounding in lovingkindness (like a flooding river overflowing its banks).
The Lord is good to all,
And His tender mercies are over all His works [the entirety of things created]
(blended into everything He does).
All Your works shall give thanks to You and praise You, O Lord,
And Your godly ones will bless You.
They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom
And talk of Your power,
To make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts
And the glorious majesty of Your kingdom.
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And Your dominion endures throughout all generations.
(You are faithful to fulfill every promise You’ve made.
You manifest yourself as kindness in all you do.)
The Lord upholds all those [of His own] who fall
(who are weak and feeble)
And raises up all those who are bowed down (with burdens of shame).
The eyes of all look to You [in hopeful expectation],
And You give them their food in due time (just the right time).
You open Your hand
And satisfy the desire of every living thing.
The Lord is [unwaveringly] righteous in all His ways
And gracious and kind in all His works
(Your love is wrapped into all your works).
The Lord is near (listening closely) to all who call on Him,
To all who call on Him in truth (without guile).
He will fulfill the desire of those who fear and worship Him
[with awe-inspired reverence and obedience];
He also will hear their cry and will save them.
The Lord keeps all who love Him,
(He watches carefully over all His lovers like a bodyguard)
But all the wicked He will destroy.
My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord,
And all flesh will bless and gratefully praise His holy name forever and ever.

I Exalt Thee - Jesus Culture, Chris Quilala, Kim Walker-Smith, Melissa How

Lyrics:

For Thou, O Lord, Art high
above all the earth;
Thou art exalted far above all gods.

I exalt Thee, I exalt Thee
I exalt Thee, O Lord

"Let's lift it up
Tell Him He's worthy
Tell Him He's holy"

We exalt Thee, we exalt Thee
We exalt Thee, O Lord

Oh with all we have
And with all we are
We have come so far
To lift Your name
Lift Your name on high, Jesus
Cause it's all about You, oh Jesus
Oh it's all about You
And this love, this song, this praise
Is what we bring to You

Stones - Live - Kim Walker-Smith

Lyrics:

Find me in the valley
Standing with my hands held high
The valley will never take my song
Find me in the desert
Holding onto You for life
The desert will never take my song
Oh, the desert will never take my song
I will praise You
I will praise You
I won't let the stones cry
I won't let the stones cry out
I will praise You
Something in me has to
I won't let the stones cry
I won't let the stones cry out
Find me with the promise
Dancing where You prophesied
Still shouting of everything You've done
High up on the mountain
I was made to testify
Forever, You will have my song
Oh, forever, You will have my song
The longer the wait, the longer I'll praise
The stronger the pain, the stronger my faith grows
The higher the need, the higher I'll reach
The greater the cost, the more I'll believe for
The longer the wait, the longer I'll praise
The stronger the pain, the stronger my faith grows
The higher the need, the higher I'll reach
The greater the cost, the more I'll believe for

Reflection

My child,
You were crafted,
designed,
created,
for this very thing.
Birds fly and sing.
Fish breathe through gills and swim.
Oceans and winds flow through time
with their many currents.
You My child
see God and express your adoration
in a natural supernatural response.
Praise is a natural response
because it's in your existential make up
as a human being.
Exalting Me is supernatural
because you were once dead,
broken,
lost,
and I rescued,
revived,
regenerated,
satisfied,
lavished,
overflowed you
with Life and Light everlasting
by sending My only Son
to die in your place.
Your ugly, your broken
is no longer yours.
My Beloved Son took it ALL from you
and now You are in the Kingdom of Life and Light
in awareness, acknowledgement, and agreement
with My dominion of lovingkindness,
of miraculous mercy
of perfect justice
overwhelming fullness and satisfaction of life.
Holy Spirit will lead you now
in physically expressing worship to Me
[directing the focus to Me
lifting up your sacrifice of praise to where I am
You'll find your head and even your whole body naturally bow,
but do not forget to open your body toward Me in boldness
for I Am yours and you are Mine
We'll exchange kisses and songs
up and down stair cases through the dimensions.
Whirl. Surrender your head back in the glory of My presence
residing in Your praise.
Throw your arms,
shoot them on high
I take all your honest heart
has to give to Me now]
for what I have done, yes,
but Who I am
The Essence of Me
Love
Let Us Practice
Our eternal Wedding rituals
of giving and receiving praise.

NightWatcher, You're Ok

written May 23rd, 2016 Every room is clogged with clutter All your mind is chaotic wonder and now I feel destructive thunder in my soul too. You try to reach me in hope but Your unknown brokenness makes every gesture a joke because I know you’re hurting so now I’m hurting on my own because of you. Your heart’s reality invites my heart to break more deeply I guess it doesn’t happen enough for me to know that it hurts good. But I’ll enter in the mystery of the scary mind we’re haunted by and make your terror mine . We’ll both toss and turn all night at the stern with Jesus Christ. I can’t take your feeling away. I’m not strong enough to breath new life into today. I can’t lead because I follow but we’ll keep our eyes on tomorrow where the winds have died and the sea is calm and all we hear is the most sovereign voice of all. Night Watcher, you’re okay. The fact that you look is perfect enough. The truth that you care means that you’re almost there; the pro...

What Would I Be?

written in 2007 or 08 edited 2010 & one word revision again 2025 Remembering my horror ... screeching threats pierced my lobes from ominous claws drawing bloodcurdling images in the mire it looked at me as its blood vessels bulged violently with every pulse of my heart for every thought i had showing hope or desire, those eyes were ever ready to mutilate it but none of you should have pity on this i stepped into the mire (its mire)... by my own will and i do take this next line to challenge you Judge me. even though the ROARING eyes promised deadly retaliation, Cease any sorry empathy. even though you consider my crime small it didn't defend me, while this beast was Loose and Free to demolish my being as far as i knew... it had every liberty to shred my flesh i tried to be something step where i pleased and guide my feet where my will lead the demon wasn't hooked up to any chains for no chains known could hold it down for even a moment but in that moment... it pursued me. i...

Dance Devotional DAY 4

Day 4 TrustWorthy Matthew 6:25-34 AMP; Psalm 36:5-10 MSG (TPT);  1 Corinthians 6:15 NIV, 17 AMP ' “Therefore I tell you, stop being worried or anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted) about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, as to what you will wear. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow [seed] nor reap [the harvest] nor gather [the crops] into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they? And who of you by worrying can add one hour to [the length of] his life? And why are you worried about clothes? See how the lilies and wildflowers of the field grow; they do not labor nor do they spin [wool to make clothing], yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory and splendor dressed himself like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is a...
